Burgundy and black is the combo in every magazine and in every store right now, and I have jumped on that bandwagon wholeheartedly! I love burgundy in all of its iterations...from wine to plum to dark cherry! Black is the perfect foil to the rich tones of the burgundy and perfectly transition us into fall. I decided to fully embrace this trend with two outfits from Debshops.com.

Have you heard of Debshops? It's a super fun online shop that is all about fun, fast, plus size fashion at crazy affordable prices! Once I saw their website and all of the adorable plus size options, I was thrilled to collaborate with them on this post! I chose 2 outfits -- one a little funky and one a little romantic and flirty...but both in the burgundy + black color scheme!

How funky cool is this look? I know it's risky to try a drop-crotch harem jumpsuit, but I just thought it was so cool, that I had to check it out. Let me just say...it's one of the most comfortable things I have ever worn! Such a soft material, and the draping spot on. Paired with this burgundy bomber jacket (another on-trend piece this season!), I felt comfortable, cool, and a little edgy.

And now for the next burgundy+black look -- one of my favorites of the season!!!
I have been searching for a top like this for plus sizes!!! I have trouble with off-the-shoulder tops truly staying off my shoulder, and I longed for this dramatic, romantic look! Debshops solved this problem with actually dropping the seams of the sleeves and having them attach in line with the elasticized neckline. I have larger arms, so I knew I'd have to size up to a 3x in this top...and whew, it fit!! The sleeves were still tight, but manageable! Paired with skinny pants in black and cute (not to mention walkable!) heels, this outfit is adorable. But to take it up another notch, I added the Suedette Tassel Wrap Necklace and the whole outfit went to another level!
